Course Launch Consultant

A launch is a six week project with a revenue target and about 40 moving parts. I plan it backward from the number, run the webinar or challenge at the centre, and build the email, ads and cart sequence around it. Then we turn the winner into evergreen so the next launch is not starting from zero.

Course launch consultant Ayoub Kaddouri: launches planned backward from the revenue target
Every launch has the same skeleton. The numbers tell you which bone is broken.
Short answer

A course launch consultant plans and runs the launch: pre-launch audience building, the conversion event (webinar or challenge), the cart open to cart close sequence, and the reporting. What I bring:

I am Ayoub Kaddouri, a full stack growth consultant. I work across SEO, technical marketing, paid ads, reporting and martech instead of one channel, which is why clients hire me when the problem sits between departments. Ten years running paid ads, eight on email, six on SEO and six on WhatsApp automation. Over the last six years I have built, scripted or fixed more than 500 webinars, and the funnels around them have produced over €40 million in sales. That includes the operating system behind Bob Proctor's Thinking Into Results funnel and the GCC coaching brand where we tripled live attendance. I have worked with coaches in Europe, the Middle East and North America, and with B2B and industrial companies that needed a technical demo turned into a webinar that produces pipeline. On the e-learning side, I built the revenue architecture behind Alphorm, an e-learning platform at €1M ARR.

01 Launch math first

Before any content, we write the number backward. Every launch I have seen miss its target skipped this step.

TargetExample
Revenue goal€100,000
Course price€997
Sales needed100
Expected conversion of live attendees5%
Live attendees needed2,000
Expected live show-up rate40%
Registrants needed5,000
Registrants from list (10K list, 20% registration)2,000
Registrants needed from ads3,000
Ad budget at €6 per registrant€18,000
What this does

It tells you on day one whether the launch is possible with your list and budget. If it is not, we change the price, the event or the budget before spending six weeks on it.

02 Webinar, challenge or video series

ModelBest forStrengthWeakness
Live webinarPrograms €500 to €5,000, warm and cold trafficHighest conversion per attendee, fastest to runOne shot. Miss the live and you rely on replay.
5 day challengeCommunities, lower price points, cold audiencesBuilds habit and trust over a week, strong for €300 to €1,500Heavy on delivery. Attendance decays by day 3 without strong reminders.
Video series (PLF style)Big lists, established brandsWorks without live deliveryWeak on cold traffic, long pre-launch
Webinar inside a challengeHigh-ticket with a communityChallenge warms up, webinar closesMost complex to run

For most course creators between €500 and €3,000, a live webinar launch wins on effort versus result. The webinar is built with the same method I use for coaching and trading programs, see the five tips.

03 The six week timeline

  1. Weeks 1 to 2: foundationLaunch math, offer and bonuses, belief chain, registration page, tracking setup. Ad creative in production.
  2. Weeks 3 to 4: pre-launchAudience warm-up content, waitlist, ads live, partner outreach. Registration opens 7 to 10 days before the event.
  3. Week 5: event and cart openWebinar or challenge runs. Cart open 5 to 7 days. Daily emails and WhatsApp with a reason each day: FAQ, case study, bonus, deadline.
  4. Week 6: close and debriefCart close with real scarcity. Then a full debrief: numbers at every stage versus plan, what to keep, what to change.
  5. After: evergreenBest webinar recording, automated registration and reminders, always-on ads at a controlled budget.

04 After the launch: evergreen

A launch gives you the data. Evergreen gives you the income. Once the live webinar has converted on two runs, I rebuild it as an on-demand funnel with the same show-up and follow-up logic, running on a daily ad budget you control. Launches then become a quarterly spike on top of a baseline, instead of the only income.

Common mistake

Going evergreen before the live version has converted. Evergreen converts at a third to a half of live. If live is weak, evergreen is dead.

05 Who this is for

Good fit
  • Course creators and educators with a course priced €300 to €5,000
  • Coaches launching a group program
  • E-learning companies launching a new track or cohort
  • Creators with a list or audience of at least 3,000, or an ad budget
Not a fit
  • First course with no validation that anyone will pay for it
  • Courses under €100 (use a different model)
  • Looking for someone to film or produce the course

06 Frequently asked questions

What does a course launch consultant do?
A course launch consultant plans the launch backward from a revenue target, designs the conversion event (webinar, challenge or video series), writes or directs the email, WhatsApp and ad sequences, and reports the numbers at each stage. The goal is to hit the number and learn enough to make the next launch or the evergreen version better.
How long does a course launch take?
Six weeks is the standard plan: two weeks of foundation, two weeks of pre-launch and audience building, one week for the event and cart open, one week for close and debrief. Rushed launches of two or three weeks work only with a warm list and an offer that has already sold.
Webinar or challenge for a course launch?
Webinar for most courses between €500 and €5,000: highest conversion per attendee and easiest to run. Challenge for lower price points, community-driven brands and cold audiences that need a week to trust you. The combination, a challenge that ends with a webinar, is the strongest for high-ticket but the heaviest to deliver.
How much ad budget does a course launch need?
It depends on the launch math. If your list covers most of the registrants you need, budget can be small. From cold, plan €5 to €12 per registrant in Europe and €3 to €8 in MENA, and you need enough registrants that the math works at your conversion rate. Most launches I run spend between €5,000 and €30,000 on ads.
What is a good launch conversion rate?
3 to 8 percent of live webinar attendees buying is healthy for courses between €500 and €3,000. For a list-driven launch, 1 to 3 percent of the total list buying is a solid result. Below 1 percent of attendees usually means the offer or the belief chain, not the traffic.
Can you turn my launch into an evergreen funnel?
Yes, and that is usually the goal. After two live runs that convert, I rebuild the best webinar as an on-demand funnel with automated registration, reminders and follow-up, running on a daily ad budget. Launches then sit on top of a baseline income.
