Service · Attribution & Tracking
Marketing Attribution Consultant
Your dashboard says Meta is winning. Google says Google is winning. Your CRM says half your deals came from “direct”. I implement attribution that ends the argument — so budget follows revenue, not opinions.
Start With a Free Audit →The problem I fix
Most companies don't have an attribution tool problem. They have a tracking foundation problem. UTMs are inconsistent, conversion events fire twice or never, the CRM doesn't know which ad a deal came from, and iOS privacy changes quietly deleted a third of the picture. Buying software on top of that just reports broken data faster.
I work implementation-first: fix the foundation, then choose the lightest tool that answers your actual questions.
What I implement
GA4 done properly
Clean event design, conversion definitions, and reports your team actually opens. See GA4 attribution models.
Server-side tracking
Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, and first-party data collection. See the server-side tracking guide.
Tool selection & setup
HockeyStack, Dreamdata, Hyros, Triple Whale, Northbeam — or none. Compared honestly in my attribution tools review.
CRM revenue mapping
Every closed deal traced back to campaign and channel in HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Salesforce. Budget decisions from revenue, not clicks.
How an engagement runs
Tracking audit (week 1)
I map what fires, what doesn't, and what lies. You get a findings doc with a severity ranking — the same list I'd work from.
Implementation (weeks 2–6)
UTM standards, event rebuild, server-side setup, CRM field mapping, tool configuration. Your developers stay in the loop; I write the specs.
Validation (weeks 6–8)
We reconcile tool numbers against real revenue until the team trusts the dashboard. Then I hand over documentation and train whoever owns it next.
Attribution for info-products, coaching & webinar funnels
If you sell courses or coaching through webinars, your attribution problem looks different: long email nurtures, replay purchases days after the live event, and iOS eating the trail between ad click and checkout. That's Hyros territory rather than HockeyStack territory — start with what Hyros actually does and my honest Hyros review. I implement the tracking stack around it: registration and show-up events, replay attribution, and revenue mapped back to the ad that started the journey.
Why me and not an agency
- Independent: I don't resell any attribution tool, so the recommendation fits your funnel, not a commission.
- Implementation-first: I write the tracking specs and configure the tools myself — not a slide deck telling you to “improve data hygiene”.
- Published homework: my tool research is public — HockeyStack review, Hyros review, tools by ARR stage. You can check how I think before you book.
- Proof: the Alphorm engagement started exactly here — rebuilding revenue tracking from scratch.
Frequently asked questions
What does a marketing attribution consultant do?
Makes your marketing data trustworthy: audits tracking, implements GA4 and server-side events, connects ad platforms to CRM revenue, configures attribution tools, and trains the team to run budget decisions from the numbers.
Do I need a tool or a consultant?
Usually both, in the right order. A tool on top of broken UTMs and messy CRM fields just reports broken data faster. The foundation work is what makes any tool worth its subscription.
Which tools do you work with?
HockeyStack, Dreamdata, Hyros, Triple Whale, Northbeam, and custom GA4 + warehouse setups. Sometimes the answer is “no tool yet” — see what fits at your stage.
How long does it take?
Audit: about a week. Full implementation: typically 4–8 weeks including validation against real revenue.
How much does it cost?
Depends on scope. Start with the free 30-minute audit — I'll tell you what's broken and what fixing it would take. You decide from there.
Stop arguing about which channel works
30 minutes, your tracking on screen. I'll show you what's broken and what I'd fix first.
